“ This is a small but nice place. Very welcoming and the food was good. Our server, I think her name was Natasha , was very patient with us as this was our first time and me, personally couldn’t make up my mind about what I wanted. My mom had a small issue with her cappuccino but our server was more than happy to have her next one made better, which did not disappoint! I REALLY enjoyed the avocado toast! ”

“ Enjoyed the house salad on the patio with three friends. My salad was good and the cob salad and burger ordered by my friends looked good too. Service was friendly, efficient, and professional and the quiet patio setting suited the beautiful afternoon and made conversation easier using my hearing aids. ”
“ Okay listen guys!! This place was a random look up & I’m so happy I had the pleasure to go!! I ordered take out. Please excuse the pictures as they do the place no justice but I didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable so I tried to take subtle pics lol. This place is a GEM!! A small quaint place that feels warm & welcoming. I came in looking very rough (hard few days) & Ms. Queenie greeted me warmly. I point that out because well, I’m Afro American & we are often judged by the appearance first unfortunately. There was fresh bread in the counter & little witty wording in reference to the coffee & tips..that made me smile. As I looked around, the seating was clean & beautifully done. Artwork on the walls, plants & a bright yet warm vibe. There’s available seating outside of which the tables look like stone so they can’t fly away. I watched the employee’s & I smiled as I watched them work. Even had a chat with a very nice “regular” customer who frequents the place. All & all...10/10, I definitely recommend ”
“ I met a group of ladies here a few weeks ago and I made the mistake of not ordering Jumbo Shrimp and Grits. One of the other ladies did and I found myself staring at her plate--the entire time. Welp, today, I decided to go back and oh my, it was DELICIOUS! ”
“ My husband and I were in town visiting and wanted to grab a bite. This place is amazing! The atmosphere was perfect, bright and clean with small special touches like the flowers on the table created such a good vibe. The food was made perfectly, we enjoyed it so much. Can’t wait to come back to visit our son and now the Garden and Grounds Bistro! ”
“ Chicken n waffles. I’ll say it again. CHICKEN N WAFFLES! They won the prize for best meal hands DOWN!!! The chicken was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I don’t know who was frying that day but they deserve a raise!! We had an egg sandwich, heirloom salad, and breakfast slammer as well. All were good but nothing compared to the chicken n waffles!! We went on a beautiful day and sat outside. The outdoor seating was amazing with plenty of space. There were also heaters for cooler days and even a gas grill. Not sure who or when it can be used but I’d happily stay outside and grill a meal on their patio. Inside had plenty of seating as well and pastries in a display case that had us drooling. We were stuffed from our meal, otherwise we would have taken some pastries as well. I imagine every option on their menu could be a home run. Staff were fantastic and friendly and very knowledgeable about menu options. We will absolutely return! ”
“ We stumbled across garden and grounds bistro and went there for Mother’s Day. Their food is absolutely awesome. This place is definitely a gym. I don’t think a lot of people know about it so hopefully this helps get the word out! Their crab dip is amazing!! The grits were so yummy and seasoned to perfection. I also got the salmon BLT on a croissant and that was really really good. This is a perfect spot for families. We will definitely be back soon! ”
